This collection just didn't really connect with me - I appreciated Akbar's imagery, but it wasn't for me. None of the poems I read really hit - I floated over them and none stuck with me when I was done.

i enjoyed pilgrim bell slightly more, but Kaveh Akbar is awesome. sophisticated and blossoming.
