This was actually one of my favorites in the series. Alex and Jenny were witty and fun from the time of their first meeting. In their story, you get instasex first, then instalove. Neither of them were expecting that level of attraction, or a relationship, period.

The book dealt with some intense topics, such as 9/11 and dementia. The focus was more on how people have to try and continue to live their lives both during and after difficult situations and tragedies.

Part of Alex and Jenny 's intense attraction was they understood the need each other had to step away from life's difficulties.

This book could be read as a standalone, but I don't necessarily think you will enjoy it as much if you haven't read some of the other books in the series. There is so much going on with so many different couples, I could see where it would be confusing to try and keep them all straight. Especially if you haven't read ANY of the other books.

Another Gansett Island visit that is full of love, romance, steamy scenes plus the friendship, support, and loyalty that comes living there. To top it off, you get the inevitable HEA.

Two characters with insanely depressing backgrounds would lead to a bit of a downer read, right? Wrong. Force shows off her killer writing skills in Meant For Love her tenth (wow!) Gansett Island book.

While some more groveling in the end would have been nice, I'm not unhappy with the outcome.

Loved all the extra bits we got about Grace and Evan too!

Meant for Love is a beautifully poignant, sweet, uplifting and funny story. That I have always loved reading, as not only are the two main characters Jenny and Alex really likable, but they're very relatable too.

Which is why this story sticks with me, and I always enjoy it more each time I read it.

Can't get enough of this series! #10 did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I ignored dishes and laundry to finish... Thanks for another great story, Marie!

That was a cute story and I overall liked it, but there were so many other side stories from so many other people that I sometimes got lost in all the 'community affairs'. The story of Alex and Jenny was cute though.

In my words ..."Another smoking hot sweet & painfully salty romance"

I'm thinking this one was "meant" to be my favorite of the series. I can't effectively express how much I adored Alex and Jenny! Swoony, sweet, sexy, and sentimental! Beyond amazing!!!
