I read this book for my sociology class, and I'm very glad I did because I likely would never have discovered it otherwise. It is a very interesting commentary on wealth and class while also being very interesting to read and having compelling (although not always loveable) characters. I really like how it explored the concept of family relationships and generational divides. I'm definitely excited to analyze it using a more sociological bent. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes stories about rich-people shenanigans or dysfunctional families.

I almost stopped reading this book after about 30 pages.  It appeared to be another "poor little rich kids" book set in New York.  However, I continued and ended up with a book with a different take on the same old story.  I applaud the author's direction with the book, but there were enough dull moments that I can't give this book four stars.

Read this if you want to roll your eyes at the most un-selfaware characters of all time. I thought this was an entertaining, thought provoking look at the dynamics between a wealthy New York family, but that it tried a little too hard to make me sympathize with certain characters (Georgiana).

I wish this book was about 100 pages longer. I loved the characters—even when they did unlikable things, I could still appreciate them.

This book felt like if Loot (the Apple TV show) and The Dutch House had a lighthearted baby.
