Good, solid writing. Great book about mental illnesses, marriage, politics and so much else. As with some other PKD novels, for example The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, there's a lot of minor details of the story that, while being highly interesting, only get at most a cursory glance, like how the hospital broke down, the psychics of the world or even the Alphanes.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I want a 700 pages long PKD science fiction novel that just keeps on going and never stops. His worldbuilding is just brilliant.
Also, this edition contains a lot of goddamn typos, but yeah, it's readable.

Eh, it’s got highs and lows. Some parts really drag and others have you reading as quickly as you can.
This was a great book, even if it was a little dated. It is an indictment of the ego and an embrace of mental illness played out in a caricatured, amped up tale of interplanetary politics, subterfuge, and a Mr. and Mrs. Smith love story. Not the most profound book I have ever read, but it was a wacky, heartwarming that left me with something to think about.

A bit confusing some of the transitions and settings. Requires quite a bit of imagination and suspension of disbelief.
Fantastic sifi scenario. I only wish Dick had explained some details of his world a little further but it seems like Dick isn't the kind of author to explain everything to the last detail.
Nevertheless I enjoyed the book. The plot was so hilarious I laughed a few times.

Hands down PKD's most juvenile and poorly executed novel, Clans is only for PKD completists.
