Very good! I get why some people may have been annoyed at Jules, but when pride is all you have left, that’s it. It was an amazing story, with great characters!
OMG WOW!!! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Jillian Graves' debut novel, Titan: A Gargoyle Daddy Dom Romance. I was absolutely blown away. I typically read vampire/werewolf monster romances and aside from minor differences such as turning into wolves or drinking blood, they are close to humans anatomically. This was my first spicy romance with characters that are definitely not humans; they have horns, wings, tails, etc. It was absolutely amazing!!! I devoured this book in one sitting!!!
What I loved:
✨ Titan. As a character, he embodies big dick energy (and he has earned it) but he still has a softer side for the people he cares about
✨ The monster smut. This unlocked new kicks for me. *cough cough* tails
✨ The side characters. I love Dredd and Rook so much. Just from small interactions with them, you can tell that they have complex histories and I really want to get into their character arcs more. I know that the next book in the series will feature Rook but I cannot wait for a story about Dredd.
✨ Favorite quote: “Tell me you don’t want to do this every day for the rest of your life. Tell me you don’t want to be with me.”
What I wasn’t as much of a fan of:
✨ Internal monologues. There was maybe one or two of them that were longer than I would have liked personally
✨ Some plot points were predictable but that could have just been because I was paying a lot of attention
All-in-all this was an amazing debut novel and I literally cannot wait to read more of the series. Highly recommended for anyone who loves monster erotic romances, sugar daddies, gargoyles, touch her and you die vibes, size differences, and consensual punishment (spanking, delayed gratification). ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5 stars and

I loved this book, the smut was great, the daddy kink was perfect, the characters were likable, and i like me some gargoyle daddy.
The only reason it isn't a 5 star is because i felt like the conflict was over pretty quickly, and i wanted more detail.

I was a HUGE fan of the Gargoyles TV show growing up and this book delivered on any inappropriate fantasies adult me would have watching that show today.
The heroine, a "sugar baby" escort for a sugar daddy website is actually, surprise!, not just doing it bc she likes it, but is actually very concerned with money the entire time and really values earning her own money and being bestowed gifts from her "daddy" benefactors was actually really fun and unique.
But I'm not sure even this fairly engaging story could make "he smells sexy, like wet stone" work.

I would have like a little more depth to the plot and world building. To be fair, this book doesn't read (to me) as just spice. It does have an interesting plot and world, I just wanted more explanations to the background of the world and magic.
A good chunk of the middle felt really slow for me. I think that's why it took me a little longer to get through. I came to this after reading the vampire one (a novella I immensely enjoyed) which was short but had a faster pace.
Never would I have thought I'd ever read gargoyle smut. But the ridgessss on the peen and the taillll!! I wanted us to see more tail and wing play, especially because it was mentioned. The smut was spicyyyy!
This book is for Mature audiences! 18+ recommended.

You don't understand. I am obsessed. This book is so easy to read, it's fun and the relationship between Juliana and Titan are so cute! I'm in love! I want to be spoiled by Titan too! Ugh
