Informative on both autism and ADHD from the POV of someone diagnosed with both. Ellie Middleton describes what it’s like living with both before and after diagnosis and the pros and cons of seeking a professional opinion. It aims to inform someone trying to get to grips with potentially being neurodivergent or to inform someone trying to support someone who is. Yes it is repetitive at times, but that is by design as the book can be read as a whole or by picking and choosing what you’d like to know more about. All in all an informative read full of great explanations and I found myself having quite a few “aha!” moments. Not for those who are well informed, but wonderful if you’re at that “am I neurodivergent?” stage or know someone who might be.
