I'd like all my non fiction books to be written by autistic people because this was so clear and easy to read

It may have taken me a while to read, but it taught me so much about myself. I would definitely recommend everyone read this book whether you’re neurodivergent or not, it’s an informative read !!

I feel this book, for the most part, is better aimed at people who aren't neurodivergent (I'm autistic) and want to know more. The first half of it is a very dry read and written in a quite disengaging style - to the point I went and read an entire other book for a bit because I was so bored. I seriously contemplated not bothering to finish it but was satisfied I eventually did as the second half was more interesting. It dives into the lesser known bits about neurodivergence and Ellie talks more about her experiences. Overall though, it doesn't deserve the hype it got and we'll see how my opinion progresses as I go on to read other books about neurodivergence.
