I'm so excited to read the next volume because I know that my favourite character will finally have some "screentime"!

Edit in 2022: These volumes in particular make me so nervous because I know what's gonna happen... But I'm pushing through and reading them!

This one was so hyped up! I was basically jumping!

Another hilarious and pretty edition!

I have to wait for the next edition… *sad face*

4 stars.

I love these boys so much and this entire match stresses me out so fucking much!!! I love seeing how both teams push each other to be better and sharper players. Sugawara is an amazing setter and he deserves the world. It's fascinating to see how differently he approaches setting compared to Kageyama. I also enjoyed seeing Tsukishima get some praise and attention for how great of a middle blocker he is (plus seeing him interact with Suga and Kageyama). All the members are so talented and have so much potential to grow even more than they already have and I'm just proud of them.

It's interesting seeing Oikawa in the past being so in his head and similar to how Kageyama used to be: so focused on himself and HIS skills and growth rather than realizing that it doesn't have to fall entirely onto him. He has teammates to depend on and who are talented and hardworking as well. I feel the need to "dislike" Oikawa but he is without a doubt very interesting and the way he parallels Kageyama intrigues me.

that was fucking intense! phew

kageyama like a fish back in the water ;( and the way his passion and dedication is shown in the smallest things.. this is spectacular writing. that moment when he's back on court was monumental bc you could feel just how much he loves holding the ball, standing on court, and playing. he takes the constructive criticism gracefully now and tries his best to change, even though it can be taken the wrong way— HE'S DOING HIS BEST. he tries his best to smile, to compliment, to communicate !!!! he's making a conscious effort to change, and i love him so much for that.

(oh, and i will not even start with oikawa's little backstory here [ch 60] bc it's enough to make me cry and tear my hair out my scalp. i can't ever put into words what those panels mean to me i think i will go insane trying actually. anw, iwaoi my beloved.)
