šŸ° This book was such a fun ride (*pun very much intended*)! šŸŽ¢

The story swept me along. It wasnĀ“t mind-blowing or unique in its kind, but definitely sweet and entertaining, with some well-balanced (and toe-curling) spice. Perfect for when you want a light and engaging read šŸ’™

šŸŽ§  Pro tip for my audiobook people: your car is NOT soundproof...so donĀ“t make the same mistake I did and maybe lower the volume during the steamy scenes when stuck in a traffic jam šŸ˜…šŸŽ¶

cute!

I really enjoyed this book! Butttt there were moments where Rowen did or said something kind of uncharacteristic and Zahra just kind of went with it ?? But I enjoyed this.

ā€œZahra’s it for me. I know it with everything in me, and my intuition has never been wrong before. There’s nothing in the world i’ll find more beautiful than her. Not the sun. Not the moon. Not even the entire galaxy compares to the light she radiates wherever she goes.ā€

Did this book almost take me a month to finish? Yes, but that’s only because of my own damn fault! This was everything I could’ve imagined and MORE!! Forever wishing I had my own Rowan Kane.

ā€œTo the girls who dream of meeting a prince, but end up falling for the misunderstood villain.ā€ I knew this love story would be everything to me as soon as I read the dedication. <3

This book was really good in the start and this book was a really good example of grumpy sunshine but I felt like their romance was rushed and they were attracted to each other like 10% in the book and kissed before 50% of the book and after they had s*x I felt like the book was dragging and it felt like it was going on forever which I why i thought I would have rated it a 3.5 but towards the end like 90% it started to pick up and became really good I also loved the ending and that’s when I started to love the couple in the end I think this book and the series all together is worth reading

i didnt like that she went to the hospital and then they drifted apart
cute but not the best use of vocabulary

Even the story has its cliche moments and sometimes made me roll my eyes, I still ended up liking it, smiling like crazy at the end and even shed a tear or two.

At first, I couldn’t connect with the characters, especially Rowan being a complete jerk, but he grew on me eventually. This was my first book by this author and it took me some time at the beginning to get used to the writing but all in all, it was a good time.

Rowan Kane you’re not my kinda man but I’m glad you make Zahra happy. I will say possessiveness and authority is also something I’m (weirdly) attracted to.
