I loved this book a lot, maybe as much as This is How it Always Is. it manages to simultaneously be about such a specific story, in a specific time and place, with such unique characters, while also being completely relatable. Macro and micro.
I absolutely loved the characters. I loved the love and fury they all held inside of them. The villains were villains through and through—the villains had moments of being humanized, but at the end of the day/book, I felt ok hating them

Three different narratives by three sisters. As you read each narrative, you learn about how the town they live in became poisoned.
The sister's are 16, so they are young adults. The sisters also have disabilities and at times, the narrative was too distracting. But overall, it is a good read.
