really interesting history of feminist organizers mainly in the “2nd world countries” during the cold war. i really enjoyed the very accessible language of the book and the author’s cultural commentary and conclusion. definitely an important read now that liberal/bourgeois/white feminism has become the mainstream definition of feminism.
