Even if you aren’t a Bridgerton fan, I enjoyed this story so much I would recommend it as a stand-alone book.

Felt really real. Best smut in the series

Read this in 2022 and just reread it in 2025. Just as good as I remembered it and I was afraid my memory wouldn’t do it justice. It was heartbreaking the first time and still was the second time. But I still loved it. Francesca’s struggle with loss and her desire to have a family is storyline that’s not that common in the genre, especially among the other Bridgerton novels. Some trigger warnings probably should have been included (unless I missed them?). Francesca’s struggles hit home for me but honestly also felt healing. I am a bit protective of this book and will be sad if Netflix changes too much.

Plot or Character Driven: Plot

A wonderful series about brother's and sister's that will capture your heart and wish you had a family like this. A great fun series. I share it with everyone I can.

Francesca’s story is my favourite of the 8 Bridgerton siblings, and that’s some tough competition!!

I just love a second chance love story and that epilogue had me on the floor in the foetal position - “Thank you, Michael, for letting my son love her first.”

I JUST CANNOT

Francesca’s book feels so real and close to the heart. The fact that it portrays so many emotions in a story is so relatable. I love her development as character starting from her first marriage, her grief and then moving on to her falling in love with her best friend. One of my favorite books from the series
