It was okay.
They kind of just skimmed over the fact that he told the media about her so she wouldn’t leave.. I didn’t like that or that she didn’t really seem to care about that either. When I read that I was so pissed.. I feel like I was more pissed then she was.

Not DNF-ing this book at 90% took some serious self control. Bad writing, cringe dialogue, major plot holes and shallow characters - this book has it all. Bridget’s story should have been the main plot point in this book.

Slow start but then got better. Birdie and Lonan-- Birdies past was sad and gave her serious trust issues. Lonan the hot hockey player and her brother's best friend who pushed hard to win her over. Loved how her family took him in. Needed more closure about why she was taken. It was alright. Cried a few times.

Quite honestly, the prose are bad. The story is hardly advancing and I'm not sure what the point is in the "evidence" of the journal entries from her kidnapper. I cannot read another 100+ pages of this.
