This book was ok. Lonan was toxic imo. Which I guess can have some sort of appeal but not to me. He was a control freak who wanted birdie to be at his beck and call. Calling the media to tell them she had been found so that she wouldn’t go back to Canada was crazy.
Birdie also was so annoying at points. Girl go to therapy before you start something with someone.

This is a one night stand, friends to strangers to lovers, brother's best friend, hockey, spicy romance. I enjoyed the first half more than the second half, but it was still pretty good overall.

Unfortunately I DNF'd this one. I was SO into it the first 30% but when the entire plot shifted about mid way it lost me. I also was not a fan of the writing style. Very choppy.
