I thought I wanted into Morpheus' head but I was wrong. I think this makes me like him even less than I did before. Especially the last few passages. I am all for twisted characters sometimes but he definitely takes the cake. The best part of this novella was getting to see what happened to Jeb in those final moments and his thought process. Jeb always thinks of Alyssa first, Morpheus about himself.

meh. I wish I had read this before reading book 2. It didn't really make a difference but I like things to flow a certain way. It was nice seeing what we 'missed' when Jeb was away from Al.

I loved Splintered (just not all of the characters in this book), and though this book was about 1 character I totally hated, I just wanted to give it a chance, for the other guy was ok.

Sadly, halfway I just got tired of it and wanted to throw it away. Morpheus is just annoying and Jeb, well while he was ok in the other book, I didn't really like him here.

I feel so sorry about Morpheus... but he was a manipulative bastard - I can't forgive him for having been so.

And Jeb *swoons*

Review Taken from The Pewter Wolf

With the second book in the Splintered series, [b:Unhinged|17449197|Unhinged (Splintered, #2)|A.G. Howard|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1366994000s/17449197.jpg|24333509], coming out in a few weeks times, A G Howard has released a short novella to get us ready and to hint at what's to come...

Morpheus has a rival for Alyssa's affections: Jeb. So, to figure him out, Morpheus decides to know his enemy better and uses Jeb's memories of his time in Wonderland. What he finds might surprise Morpheus...

Now, when I was reading [b:Splintered|12558285|Splintered (Splintered, #1)|A.G. Howard|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1340134213s/12558285.jpg|17562095], I never trusted Morpheus and, with this, I fear that I won't trust him in Unhinged, because by the end of the story, you get his gameplan of what he might do in book two. But it was interesting to see both the "bad boy" and the "good guy" (Morpheus and Jeb respectively) and it was interesting to see scenes and interactions that was hinted at in Splintered that wasn't shown as Alyssa wasn't there to see them, but on her quest to save Wonderland...

My only regret with this novella is that I wished it was a little longer. It felt like we only skimmed the scenes rather than go in depth.

Now I have read this, I can not wait to read Unhinged.

I love the way A.J. Howard portrays Wonderland.

This short novella is about Morpheus

trying to find out what makes Jeb tick; Jeb's most secret fears, desires, needs that are tied to Al.

Perfect bliss this was.
