not much to say about this one! if i had to compare, sea of tranquility was much more interesting and i liked it better, but this is a solid book as well!

im sleepy so no long review; the writing is very nice on the eyes and the shifting perspectives actually really enhanced the story instead of just breaking it up for forced suspense like in some books. would recommend!

Took me a while to get into but once I was, it was hard to put down. Beautifully written. It really makes you think about the concept of civilization and how things would be if it was no more. Character's felt real and I loved how well interwoven everything was.

A rich dystopian novel that focuses on several characters pre and post pandemic that is lyrically written. It was an interesting deep dive into the psyche of humans and humanity itself.

I was surprised how much I liked this book. I’m leaving a review several days from finishing it and the more I reflect, the better I thought it was. It’s a relatively slow book, but I didn’t feel like I was dragging through, but instead just enjoying it at its own pace. And then watching the horrible storytelling of the HBO series after reading, it made me realize how well-webbed this book was.
