Murder and a Pinch of Rosemary (The Donahue Brothers of Texas, #1; Texas-Sized Mysteries #3) by Michelle Francik

I love a good mystery. Murder and a Pinch of Rosemary exercises the mind while captivating the heart. Francik keeps the story an intriguing mass of kooky characters and dangerous secrets. A puzzle waiting to be solved.

Murder and a Pinch of Rosemary by Michelle Francik is the first A Texas Sized Mystery. Susan Sinclair witnessed a murder and to keep her alive until the trial, she had to enter WITSEC. She is now settled in Texas with her new identity and hair color. But then bundles of rosemary are left on her doorstep. Rosemary is what she was cutting when she witnessed the crime. It is now up to U.S. Marshall Reed Donahue to keep Susan safe from a killer. A dangerous situation and close proximity have a way of allowing two people to become close and feelings can develop. Reed, though, needs to keep his wits about him if he is to keep Susan alive. Murder and a Pinch of Rosemary was an intriguing mystery. I liked the developed characters and the interactions between them. The story is well-written with action and twists to surprise readers. Prayer and faith are integrated into the story. Murder and a Pinch of Rosemary will keep you up late because you will not be able to put it down.
