One of the cutest things I've ever read. This series is amazing. Its a wonderful mix of cute stories with a wonderful truth behind it. The mom is a wonderful character and I feel like it tackles real problems but in a peaceful, educating kind of way. I can't wait for the next.

This mom and lil' bro are top tier. Love the reflectiveness of this manga, there are instances when the mom doesn't know what to say or think or how to support but she still loves her son and will no matter what.

Don’t ask me why it took me THIS LONG to read a manga pls. It was good but it’s getting very repetitive now :/

  • This is still good but a little frustrating tbh.
  • The mum doesn’t call out homophobic behaviour, especially the dad calling gay people ‘fairies’ and all sorts of horrible things tbh. And it’s really irritating. Like, that’s your husband?? And you think your son might be gay and you’re letting him say stuff like that out loud?? It’s just infuriating actually.
  • And the coworker who was disappointed by the guy being gay? Just a bit uncomfortable to be honest. Like that’s a real person, not one of your fantasies from a book, you have no right to be upset that their relationship isn’t what you want it to be?? Idk, it just made me uncomfortable, all the women just obsessed with gay men and discussing his sexuality and essentially outing him to others when it’s none of their business. And I know he wasn’t hiding it but if he wasn’t out, the woman going round telling everybody she saw him and his boyfriend in public is so harmful, especially in the workplace. I just didn’t like it.
  • Yuri is a good brother. And aside from all of that above, I do think his mum is great. His dad sucks, point blank. He’s actually a shit dad. Hiroki is very sweet and he’s just a nice kid which is nice to read.
