I didn’t like the characters. FMC was super whiney imo. I wanted there to be an actual fallout with the dad. She never really reclaimed much of her life.

Most disappointing CL book I’ve read yet. The first two were five stars—this is an outlier for me. The book focuses on romance and family drama yet I didn’t feel a thing for the relationship or even care about one character. The family drama is boring and unrealistic. Soooo I’m not left with much. The relationship isn’t interesting until 85% through and then it ends with an abrupt “welp okay then”. Is there anything to the main character other than her daddy issues? And why is this guy so amazing to her? I can’t figure it out.
Very disappointing compared to their other books! Still love the duo and will read more, I just hope they’re not like this.
