I seem to feel how a lot of other people are feeling on this one: a little underwhelmed. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked the sexiness and charm that hooked me on CL books in the first place. And honestly, this is how I’ve felt on the last couple of their books. It bums me out. It seems like they’re slowly going over to just chick lit rather than a goooood romance. Which, don’t get me wrong, I like chick lit, but it’s not what I want from one of these books.
It’s wasn’t my favorite. It was slow. A little boring. I hated what Sam did to Tate.
Christina Lauren has a nique in the rom com arena. They never fail to write a story that is total escapism and is a great vacation read.
I am not sure the storyline of Ian added much to the story.
3.5 stars
I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Sadly, I have 20% left and no thank you. I am not convinced. The characters are forgettable and his betrayal was not forgivable

meh. I thought this book was okay. I liked the setting of the film set and the idea of the characters, but I kinda didn't like what Sam did and how he never tried to explain himself over the time they were apart. I mean I understand why he did it, but it seemed out of character for him to not be sensitive to her Tate's feelings.
It’s another point of contrast between my two parents: Mom lifts me up. Dad lifts me up so that he has a higher perch to stand on.
Cute contemporary romance read, I really enjoyed this on a lazy weekend hanging out.
I really like this author (s), but this wasn't my favorite.
I guess mostly the premise doesn't make sense. It does, but it doesn't. Do paparazzi really care that much about an actor's kid? Enough to turn her life upside down when she hasn't been seen for awhile? She's not a royal; she's just the kid of an actor.
I also totally pictured the dad from Dirty Dancing as Ian Butler.

Christina Lauren does a really great job of doing second chance romances. The ending was unexpected but I enjoyed the general story. You feel so bad for both the characters and just hope for the best. Not my favorite of all Christina Lauren books, but once you read my top 3 choices trickle down to this one when you get the chance.
