3 ⭐️ A quite boring book about a girl whose only personality trait is that she is small, no plot what so ever and a non existing story line. The only reason for the three stars is the medium amount of chemistry and the kind of comforting feeling it gave away. Also, the writing didn’t SUCK.

I originally filed this book as my tbr list because i thought it is a slowburn romance. But no, josh loves mc from the very start and they pull the i like her so i bully her card. There are a lot of sex scenes like yada yada I get it. But I would prefer development of the relationship rather than all that. Also the height of mc getting mentioned every few paras is just too much and how mc continues to objectify josh even though he is clearly uncomfortable is just not for me. Thus, although it is a really engaging read, it is a 1-star rating.

This was pretty predictable and the main character goes on and ON about how spectacularly attractive her love interest is... *cue eyeroll*. I get a little bored with protagonists waxing eloquent / fantasizing / lusting after their purportedly gorgeous (don't forget this is fiction!) love interest—however, some of it did end up being relevant to the plot. (Still, it did not need to be ad nauseam!)

Overall fairly steamy with 1-2 open bedroom scenes but they are easy to skim past. Quite a bit of profanity. I liked You Deserve Each Other more.

overall not a bad read! lucy and joshua's banter was super witty which i LOVED. josh is so sassy wit it and it made the tension all the much better. plot was fun, light-hearted, and witty.

(spoilers ahead) i thought it was a bit weird that lucy and josh kissed kinda early on into the book, i wish it was prolonged for a lil bit longer but hey the elevator scene was still tea☕

A really great enemies to lovers, everything was pretty predictable but that didn’t bother me in this case cause I enjoyed going in this ride with these characters

Seriously in awe with how nice this book was. I'm in a phase where I read a lot of rom books, and this one has certainly been surprisingly good. Funny, sweet and spicy.

I know I’m super late to the game on this one, but I loved it. I am a sucker for enemies to lovers and I adore a good office romance. The banter between Lucy and Josh was AMAZING.

But, while all of those things were great, my favorite part about this book was the scene we’re all OBVIOUSLY waiting for in a romance.
