Beautifully written and translated, Ten Women contains life stories narrated by ten different characters. Their voices and their stories feel real, and helped me feel connected to a time and place I've never visited. Would recommend this book to others who want to put themselves in someone else's shoes.

I wouldn't recommend it
Really boring at least for me. Each chapter was devoted to a woman and her story, I wasn't really sure what the whole point was and wasn't to clear on what was going on or the point of the book.
