Listened to the audiobook. It was OK. It felt slow through the middle, and the narrator rambled at times, but I enjoyed it. Although I hate how the narrator's wife is not named- she's simply referred to as "my wife."

Still one of the greatest sci-fi novels of all time. Absolutely love the prose used. As a novel, it's both a statement on the colonial culture of the time and a portent of the technology of war to come...

I can't believe I managed to reach this age without having already read this book...

I will have to write a review when I have fully processed this novel so far advanced for it's time. What a magnificent tale! Why have I never read this before?!!

I remember watching the movie from the 50's a lot when I was a kid, but never read the book it was based on. Very classic sci-fi that so many other works have drawn inspiration from since. Probably my favorite of the H.G. Wells books I've read.

It was wonderfully written. I would give it a 3.5 if possible. It wasn’t as enthralling as I expected, but that’s to be expected for the age of it. Overall it’s definitely worth a read.

The delivery of the production made this great.
