Think 13 Going on 30. Except Charlotte falls off a ladder onto her enemy Renner and they both wake up at age 30 and no memory of the years between. The love story and their getting to really know each other was sweet. But this felt like a YA book and the characters lacked depth.

Very cute story , I'm looking for low drama books and it was a great audiobook.

This was such a cute read! When Charlotte and T.J., school enemies, have to plan the prom together, a mishap transports them into the future where they’re about to be married. In order to get back to prom, they have to figure out what sent them here in the first place.

While Char can be a little insufferable at time, she’s easy to follow as an MC and her banter with T.J. is great. I liked the collection of characters within their friend group and it was cool to see how everyone evolved over the 13 year gap.

This is definitely a YA novel, which I'm usually not interested in. However, they did such a good job marketing this that I was anxious to read it anyways. This book plays homage to 13 going on 30 however both people move forward in time. They don't go back to 17 until Char takes a step back from herself and realizes that not everything doesn't revolve around her. Not in a selfish way but in the sense that all these insecurities she had, didn't have anything to do with her to begin with. It's an awesome lesson to learn and something we should all take into consideration.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review, as always, all words are my own.
