It’s hard to rate a book like this, because it was sooooo predictable and often had me rolling my eyes (just like The Summer I Turned Pretty) but the premise was adorable, like reading a rom-com movie, and I finished it in less than 2 days. I also thought this was extra fun because if my 15 year old self got a glimpse into who I married she would be just as appalled and shocked as Charlotte :)
Wow
Damn I didn't know what to expect from this book. But I sure got a lot out of it. Stayed up reading this one. I so enjoyed it. And the whole back and fourth bickering was great. You can tell they liked each other. Charlotte and J.T. are my fave crazy couple. Especially future them.
And to learn about what could have been and so on now that was kind of a shocker in a way.

Ok…..so I was debating between 4.5 and 5 stars for this because I enjoyed it so much.
Char was such a fun main character. Did I physically cringe and cover my eyes when the tampon incidence happened. Yes, yes I did.
Was I giggling at the banter between her and Renner. Of course!
Renner. JT, my boi. Such a great MMC. From the beginning, I knew the reason he treated Char the way he did was because of his feelings for her. But I’m not mad about that ONE BIT!
Did this leave me feeling like I could go back to high school/senior year….ya, weirdly. Did it also make me feel old with the references. Sadly, yes.

This book was the second book I have read by Amy Lea. I chose it for the plot, which did not disappoint. If you love romcoms such as 13 Going on 30, I can almost guarantee you will love this book for sure! Amy Lea will be going on my must read list for sure! This book was super adorable and I loved it. If you like romcoms or the Hallmark channel you will thoroughly love this book!

Didn't realise it was YA. It was reading very similar to TATBILB which would have been fine if I was reading it at age 14
