Learned a lot. It was less about her and more about her policies and what shes done, which is important right now although I'd love to learn more about her as a human. It defo made me like her more though.

Before voting for her in November, I wanted to hear what she had to say in her own words. This book is interesting, going between personal anecdotes and policy. Kamala Harris seems like quite the advocate from within the system to the best of her ability. Great book.

I’m not typically one for memoirs, but I’ve been feeling so inspired by the hope and galvanized energy behind Kamala’s bid for presidency that I had to listen to her memoir and MAN WAS IT GOOD 👏🏻👏🏻 it’s a wild experience listening to this today versus when she wrote it during the 45th presidential term, especially since the stakes and the circumstances are so similar today.

This book sheds an amazing light on Kamala’s life, her backstory as a lawyer and politician, her family and her character. Hearing her ideals gives me so much hope for our future and I’m so excited to elect her our next president!

If you’re on the fence or just want some insight into Kamala from her own mouth, give this a read or listen! I’ll say listening to this was a wonderful experience and she did a fantastic job narrating. Thank you to PRHAudio for the free listener’s copy!

ugh I love Kamala so much her values are exactly the same as mine and learning about her upbringing makes me appreciate how far she's come and what a life she made for herself.

I found it inspiring to learn more about the profound and powerful influence her mother's commitment to social justice and her involvement in social movements shaped Kamala's drive to build on that commitment throughout her life. I learned more about her days as a young lawyer to Attorney General of California to now presidential hopeful; but much more this book unearthed the incredible policy work she developed to uphold and protect the rights of marginalized groups -- particularly in the criminal justice system.
