I followed Kamala Harris pretty closely during her campaign for president, but never knew much about her life leading up to that campaign. This book was a great way to "meet" her and learn about who she is and what she cares about.

I enjoyed reading about her political journey. I would have enjoyed reading more about her personal life.... particularly about her mother and her immigrant experience . It was so interesting to read about her experience of not wanting to call attention to herself as an immigrant .
