Not really sure what its all about but I only realised about three quarters of the way through thats the whole point. I think its a metaphor for religion or marriage or something. Incredibly mundane surrealism is quite an accomplishment.

My favorite Kafka work by far. It isn't too drawn out and all the different situations K is put in. It really makes you want to know why K was being tried and if it was justified. The novel reminds us of the importance of individual freedom and the need for justice. It allows us to realize that we need to beware of unchecked power and the dangers.
