Pauli Murray was clearly a formidable figure within not only Black history, but women’s and American history as a whole. I am left simultaneously impressed, humbled, and frustrated, by one whose conviction was powerful yet truly a sign of her time.

At multiple point while reading Pauli Murray's autobiography I wondered how on earth she isn't more well-known. What an extraordinary life.
