look i GET the criticism and why people were disappointed in this one but i absolutely devoured it and did NOT expect to. i ADORE both claire and gibsie and i didn’t expect to be so attached to their friends to lovers journey. I have become SO heavily invested in the entire group dynamic and i CANNOT wait for R10 i’m SCARED.

Gibsie was the star of the show in this one, and his u resolved trauma was absolutely heartbreaking and painful because he was always the comic relief. Claire became one of my favorite girls of the series because of her absolute loyalty to gibsie and just how adorably optimistic she was.

i think this book hit me at the right time and was just what i needed rn (but i NEED more claire and gibsie i BEG)
