I like this book and I really enjoyed it so giving it 4 stars feels unfair but compared to the other books in the series I was a little disappointed. I needed more of them. All of the other books are like a million pages long and this was done in 6 hours for me, like WHAT? but the plot was addicting, even for a reread, so I highly recommend it. I think that their next book should be even better (hopefully) and that people will stop hating on what the author did to the plot. I went through and read some negative reviews and it doesn't even make sense because in the end the author can bring the book wherever they want, and it was clear the plot had been thought out and planned.

i seriously can’t do this anymore. it gets worse each book. my poor poor gibs. i am so conflicted cos i know the SECOND i read releasing 10 my entire perspective will switch, and i KNOW lizzie is victim too, but gosh was she horrible in this book.

Four stars because Gibsie’s story broke my heart, and we got a sweet bromance with Johnny.

However, Claire is super annoying—she acts more like an 8-year-old than a 15-year-old, and it gets boring.
