Not sure if I consider this brain candy or more like a refined carbohydrate - easy to eat, easy to crave, over quickly and leaves you wondering if you ate or not. (or is that chinese food?)

In any case, if light and fluffy can be applied to a story where there are several attempts at murder and grandparents are bludgeoned to death, then this book was light and fluffy. I like Lt. Samantha Spade and her hunky sidekick Mitch, despite how cliched some things can be and there's no complaints about the pacing from me. This book was only 250 pages or so and didn't need to be any more. I appreciate it when an author doesn't feel the need to pad things.
