A nice conclusion to this trilogy. I also appreciated the timeline in the back of this one to show how things happened linearly.

I enjoyed this final chapter in the Seven Kennings series.
However, this series suffered from a common issue in high fantasy epics, the end dragged on a bit. By the time we got to this 3rd book there were so many characters that it was hard to have attachments to all of them and really care what happened.
My other complaint, which is semi-minor, for a book about a major war, the story as a whole ended with all the good guys being better off than when we started and the world being a shinier happier place in general. I know this is a fantasy but up to this end it felt like one of those gritty fantasy that actually understands the world and holds the mirror up. When everything ended happily ever after for literally everyone, it cheapened the story.

This was my favorite book of the series, and it really closes up the trilogy nicely.
