First 50% of the book i couldnt get into but last 50% ugh i loved so much! Love fated mates stories and the stuff i didnt see coming at end!

Well colour me shocked. I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did. I was very pleasantly surprised by this, the audio was really fantastic. It had me interested from the get go and I enjoyed the whole book and look forward to the next one as the ending leaves it open to so much potential. Is it super original in its ideas? No, it followed the romantasy recipe pretty closely, but it gave lots of whimsy and emotional investment, without any overly complicated world-building.

Terminó mucho mejor de lo que empezó.
demasiado largo para mi gusto(y eso que me gustan los libros largos). Me aburrió hasta el 60%, después me empezó a entretener sin convencer, al 80% aproximadamente recién me empezó a interesar la historia. Al final para un libro tan largo, que todo lo interesante pase en el último 20% y que además te dejen con más preguntas que certezas ufff. De todas maneras gracias a lo que pasa en el ultimo 20% y a que me dejaron todas las puertas abiertas leeré el siguiente por pura curiosidad.

The plot kept me entertained enough to stick around. But the romance didn't quite land for me. Never bought into their connection. Then when the whole “bonded mates” angle dropped, it felt slapped on instead of earned, like the book was trying to convince me of a spark I just didn’t feel. Carrion Swift though? Loved him. Hilarious. I’d happily read a whole book just about him.
