For some reason I just can't quite get into these books like I did the Raven Boys. I think it's just because they have such a different feel but some of the same characters.
The book is still well written and, as per usual Maggie Stiefvater, very unique from anything else I've read! Also, she is so good at weaving different parts of stories together.
I won't say any more considering this is a second book. Genre is definitely fantasy. There is a lot of cursing (I mean, it does have Ronan Lynch as a main character so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️).

"A hero. It was an unfamiliar concept. Ronan had been the villain for so long, if he had been anything. The one in trouble, the one written up on the slip, the one being chased, the one being accused. And before that he had been the young dreamer. Secret. Forever."
