This series gets five stars from me. I loved it. Not only does Mr Grant have a fascinating imagination that is completely my cup of tea, he tells his story well and with so many twists and turns that these books kept me enthralled from beginning to end of the series. I couldn't put these books down and thankfully 'Light' had just been released in time for me to binge read them all in one go!
Mr Grant truly knows how to end a series well and even the authors note at the end helped cushion the blow of suddenly living without these characters every evening. I missed them and that's how I know the books are truly great- when they resonate with me long after I've stopped reading them.
So in summation this is a brilliant series of highly entertaining books with a fulfilling ending, what more could you ask for?
