I liked how the characters evolved over the narrative and seeing both sides of the mother/daughter-in-law relationship. One of the few books that I didn't really focus on who had done it, but just sat back and took in the story.

This isn't my usual read however I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The story begins with the death of the wealthy unlikable Diana. The story unravels and is told by both Diana and her daughter-in-law Lucy. The author adds layers to Diana as the book progresses and suddenly the unlikable Diana becomes so much more. So glad I read this one and I will try another by this author!
