Raw and Emotional

Wow that was a gut puncher!! Talia and the Princes. That was not the story I was at all expecting! I did not see that coming at all!! I have so many feelings! This book gutted me. I’m quickly starting book 2!
I also listed to the audio. The narrator did an amazing job!! Thank you audiobook obsessions!!

I love this book and how the main character interacts with the boys. I like how she stands up for herself instead of whining and letting it happen.

Game. set. match

Savage Royals is straight up Savage. (I've always wanted to say that and sound like I know what I'm talking about!) The term bully can't even touch the shenanigans seen in these pages. Mob mentality, bullying, and down right evil.

I am not sure when I got complacent but I absolutely did. I am paying for it too. Callie Rose is all about the twist and I forgot that. I have no intention of forgetting it again! Please, please, let karma do its job!

Another bully romance 3.5

Savage Royals was a good addictive read. I enjoyed it. Hildebrand was a great lead female, her connection with princes was intriguing and intense. There’s more going on and you can’t wait to find out what’s really going on. With that said I look forward to the next book. Now, savage royals holds several similarities to The rich boys of Burberry prep. I understand there’s really only so many different ways to spin a reverse harem bully romance, and there’s bound to be similarities with other book. For instance when all the billionaire romances flourished there were also several similar books. Now, I didn’t see any word for word similarities so I wouldn’t call it plagiarism. But a few things were a little too similar like, cafeteria, the video ending, get away trip. I think savage royals had a mix of Burberry prep and Brayshaw. It’s not exactly the same but I do think there was copy cat ideas with sight changes of wording. I think I would have really enjoyed the read if maybe there wasn’t so many odd similarities. I’d give it 3.5 stars.

Savage Royals by Callie Rose is a Reverse Harem High School Bully Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kasi Hollowell.

This is the first book of Callie’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. It was absolutely fantastic. I could not stop listening. It is raw and emotional. I cannot wait to dive into the second book Defiant Princess.

Kasi did an amazing job on the narration.  She really brought the story to life.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Reverse Harems, Enemies To Lovers, and High School Bully Romances.

Did not see that coming

I really like the main character and the author has done a great job of getting you emotionally attached to her. Now, while I was reading this and we got to the part that the guys decided to treat her as one of them... I kept thinking to myself okay why are we just reading about their everyday life together. I get that we need character/relationship development but I felt like it was a little drawn out, until I GOT TO THE END!!! I did not see that coming and I finally understood why she she went above and beyond to show their relationships developing. My mouth fell open in shock, anger, and sadness for the main character. I had to download the next book immediately because wow, I need to see where this is going! I didn’t notice grammatical errors and I do enjoy the authors writing style. I recently finished her “Kings” series and enjoyed it so much I decided to read this set by her also. They are definitely similar but do stand apart from each other. So far so good.

I’m sitting here with my eyes wide and my jaw at the floor.

I haven’t had a book shock me like this in YEARS. I mean..I’m honestly struggling to find the words to truly express all the feelings I’m dealing with right now.

Every time I think I can form a sentence, I start shaking my head because I’m still in shock. I seriously inhaled this story from the moment I read the first sentence and wow, I really don’t know if I’ve had a book also make me genuinely FEEL so much before.

I’m not exaggerating at all. I’m just..wow. WOW.

Not my favorite kind of book, but the characters were well written, it kept me on my toes, and it kept me entertained. Interesting for sure.

The book was a little cliché and boring for like 80/90% and I was thinking I was gonna give it an average 3 star rating and not bother with reading the 2nd book. But that twist at the end, made me bring it up to 4 stars and decide to give the 2nd book a shot. I suppose because I didn't read the synopsis of the 2nd book beforehand, the twist was particularly surprising to me, but I really liked it. Now I just hope the Princes have a proper groveling and redemption arc and the heroine doesn't just take them back with the bare minimum apology.
