Omg I loved this book so much and it was the PRECISE tone and escape I have needed. I was immediately captivated by the characters and loved every minute. I listened to this book in less than a week on drives for work and the first half had me kicking my feet and giggling while the second half had me literally shrieking and gasping loudly in my car 🤣🤣 highly recommend!!!! Not me adding Misery to my baby name list!

This book was so interesting and so funny and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

I really loved the characters and exploring the world they live in but I do wish that there was more time spent on those things and less time spent on spice.

Really loved this! Misery was a great FMC - witty and funny, but faulted in relatable ways. Hazelwood was great at foreshadowing; I clocked a couple of things early on,

like Serena disappearing for days at a time during possible full moons and Mick being shady

, but in ways that still built up to big reveals.

You know what, I really respect that Ali Hazelwood gave her publishers 3 very cute, very similar romcoms about tiny quirky women in STEM and their very very tall boyfriends, and then for her fourth adult book went with werewolves and vampires mating.

And yes, I did stay up until 1:30 in the morning finishing this book. I can’t say I would recommend the book, but I did find myself unable to put it down.
