Це було прекрасно. Я дуже рада, що прочитала цю книгу. Насолоджувалась кожною сторінкою.
До цього не читала книг Елі і тепер переді мною великий світ нових можливостей. Книга цікава, книга класна. Вона весела, але в той же час ні. Вона проста, про життя, про вибір, про кохання. Навіть не так, про любов. В той же час, є і складні теми. Втім, мені подобається як написано і як перекладено. Я з задоволенням провела час з книгою німецькою. Більш того, я рада, що це була саме німецькою книга, бо зійшлось декілька гарних зірок - цікава тема, легка книга, роментезі - і саме тому читання німецькою було в кайф.
Не дивіться, що читала з березня по срепень. Насправді, там два тижні в березні і два тижні в серпні. Книга цікава, читається легко і зрозуміло. Герої прекрасні, слідували за їх історією напрочуд легко. Тут насправді особливих трагедій немає, але це й прекрасно.
Єдине, за що хотілось надавати Лоу по шапці - так за те, що він не міг виняйти язика з жопи і готовий був пожертвувати своїм щастям заради того, чого Мізері і не потрібно. Точніше, їй потрібна її свобода, щоб вона вирішувала, а не щоб знову вирішили все за неї. Лоу ж вирішив, за що йому мінус. Втім, він настільки звик відмовляти собі в усьому, що це й логічно. Добре, що Мізері таки взяла бика за рога, і витребувала у Лоу своє спільне щастя з ним

I’m not normally one for romance books but admittedly this was a nice palette cleanser from what I usually read.
So given that romance books are normally my thing, the more sexy, smutty sections didn’t do much for me but everything else I surprisingly enjoyed. The world building was very fleshed out, taking what the readers think they know about vampires and werewolves in fiction and giving things enough of a twist to keep it interesting, yet keeping enough of it familiar that you don’t need to think about it too in depth.
Character motives felt clear, and well developed and I genuinely liked a lot of them, even the characters we were supposed to hate, or think we were supposed to hate.
If romance with supernatural themeing is your thing, I’d recommend this, and even if it isn’t, the sexy stuff doesn’t detract from the plot enough to warrant any negativity.

this one is def for the teen wolf/TVD/Wattpad/AO3 fanfic girlies — it almost felt like a “grown up” version of those fanfics we were inhaling at way too young of an age and I think the nostalgia of it all played a huge role in why I loved this one so much!
there’s vampires, werewolves, fantastic world building, and a plot that really almost stands on its own aside from the romance. it only stumbled a little at the end for me
also the writing and humor in this book is SPOT ON. I was cracking up
