This was an absolutely epic ending to an amazing trilogy. I loved everything about it. Em knows how to write a truly evil villain which had me SO ANXIOUS the entire time. The found family in this series is truly one of my favorites. I loved the addition of all the creatures of the realm, not just the humans and the fae. The battle scene was so well done with such great build up and conclusion. I am so sad to be done with this series while simultaneously still so in awe of this world that Em has created for us.
Thank you so much for an eARC in exchange for my honest review!

What a way to end a trilogy. We join Eliana and Jace as the prepare for the battle that will ideally gain Eliana the crown that is rightfully hers. Though we know that with knowing this major battle will culminate toward the end, that we have some twists and turns coming our way. One thing I appreciated about this book was the allowance for our side characters to shine. We get so much more out of Veli, Avery, Finn, Zae and Gage in this book on their way to creating their defining impacts on the future.
We also finally get to travel to the other side of the mountain to see the human dwellings in Alaia and the forces that Jace commanded during the war.
I also enjoyed the budding relationships in this book and how they all have created their own family amongst the devastation the Queen plans to leave in her wake. Be prepared, because not all is as it seems.

ALL THE FEELS!! Can't believe this series has come to an end 😭😭😭
Well, after book 2 I was eager to dive back into this amazing world and its characters AND OMGGGGGGG I am left feeling all kinds of emotions, I was happy, sad, excited, devastated, surprised, shocked!! I literally cried sad tears and then happy tears.
I really liked the character development and the way the story evolved to where it is now. The ending left me with the biggest smile on my face.
As always, Nox is the best and cutest little ball of darkness. Something I really liked was how Jace and Lia were always there for each other, more in this book than the others given how their bond has grown since book 1. I loved to see their relationship throughout the books and their ups and downs. I LOVE THEM FOREVER.
I don't want to say anything more because of spoilers, just know that if you want to read a fantasy with romance trilogy that has an incredible enemies to lovers, a cute and badass wyvern, secret identities, high stakes, badass FMC and found family GO AND READ THIS SERIES!!
Love you all and happy reading 💋💋

One of the best endings to a trilogy I’ve ever read.
I can’t even believe this is the first of Emilia Jae’s stories because everything wrapped up so perfectly you’d assume this is like the 10th series she wrote.
This book was very diligently paced. It’s broken up into 3 parts. I’d say 1-2 are slower but not in a bad way. Necessary groundwork for part 3 to be the emotionally stressful rollercoaster that it was.
The character development in this series is top knotch. Following Lia’s story is just incredible. The growth she experiences from book 1 to 3 is masterful. And she never ends up perfect. Always flawed, always acknowledging she needs help. And she’s chaotic, st@bby, sarcastic, stubborn, impulsive, and humble. She is truly everything you’d want in a genuine FMC.
Our MMC is a MASTER at communication. From the get go and I love him. He is supportive, possessive, also st@bby, loving, a cinnamon roll but could and absolutely would k1ll you.
The supporting characters. FREAKING YES. I LOVE THEM ALL. One of the most amazing things about this trilogy is the full cast of characters you get. You even get the villains POVs. One of the villains I almost started to feel bad for. Then I didn’t. 😂 The secondary characters are so three dimensional and also experience amazing growth and are so vital to the story.
While there’s only so much you can do in the fantasy genre before it feels repetitive, I can say as an avid fantasy/romantasy reader, Emilia Jae did an amazing job making this storyline familiar and unique at the same time. Always wanting to know what was going to happen next.
This was the perfect wrap up and I already miss all our rebels.
Also honorable mention to our fiery Noxy boy for best the best wyvern and cutest boy in existence. And to the lovely, loyal, companionable Nyra for her support and kisses.
Thank you so much Emilia for the chance to be an ARC reader for an honest review! It’s been my honor 🥹🫶🏻

Since the very first book The Dagger and The Forbidden Heir I have loved every moment of this world that Emilia Jae created and A Throne Of Wings and Embers was the perfect conclusion to this amazing series.
I didn’t think I could love Lia and Jace anymore than I do they are perfect as the main characters and in ATOWAE they became so much more, the devotion to each other, support and understanding they each give the other is beautiful and not to mention the love they have for the other.
I loved that we have multiple PoVs in this book which include the villians as well as the characters we love, seeing the story told from their perspective just adds so much more to the way the story develops and the author does this so well. There are moments of sadness, humour and a little bit of spice. Thank you so much Emilia Jae for having me on this journey from the very beginning.

My Review- I am so sad to see this story end I had so much fun reading and so many emotions and I want more of them. It follows after the second book and this one had the most action and twists and turns that had me in my seat I liked the characters before but I love them now wanna see them win. I will not say so much because I do not want to spoil the story, but you need to read this whole book series if you like games like Thrones and Thrones of Glass. I had a wonderful time reading the stories and falling in love with the characters and I can't wait for more from this author.
Thank you for an arc
