One of the easiest 5⭐️ i’ve ever given. I loved this series of books so much when I read them on my kindle that I treated myself to the physical that contains all five. and when I tell you I ate it up, I ATE IT UP.
I didn’t forget how good this book was because whenever I get the chance to recommend a book or talk about this book, I jump at the chance! But re-reading it had me going back on the ABSOLUTE emotional rollercoaster that this books sends you on. I was laughing, smiling, falling in love with the characters and their deep love for each other, I was crying, scared, and grimacing at the gruesome parts. But my god, I would not have changed a single thing. Every single sentence of this book had me gripped and not waiting to stop reading.

“I'm back, motherfuckers. And I'm going to make your life hell before I painted your town red.” ೃ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚

› Genre: Dark Romance, Mystery/Thriller, Suspense, New Adult Fiction
› Tropes: Villain, Serial Killer, Cop/Killer, Revenge
› Medium-Paced, Dual POV

ೃ — As a person who loves dark romance and likes to watch true crime and serial killer movies, I got extremely obsessed with this series. This series consists of five little novellas put into one book about the dark journey of a serial killer getting revenge for horrible things that were done not only to her, but her whole family. She plans every single detail to go through this revenge, but what she never expects is to fall in love with the FBI Agent in charge of her case.

First of all, reading this was really a total mindfuck. Words are not enough to describe how amazing this series was. Everything was just so perfectly thought of and written. I loved the characters—especially Lana Myers—and the storyline itself. The story was exciting from beginning to end. I can't even put it down because I was so invested with how Lana will execute her darkest revenge. It was easy to understand, plus, Logan and Lana's chemistry was out of this world. I absolutely devoured this whole series and I will not stoo talking about how beautiful it is, and it will be a very good idea to make this series as a movie. And if that happens, I'll be the first one to watch it. I gave it my biggest five-star and I'll accept no criticism about it.

Note: The story contains triggering contents, so please check trigger/content warnings, and read at your own risk.

i don't even care if the events that occurred in this book are unrealistic. it was so addicting to read and so satisfying in so many ways. every day i was excited to read it. you need to have a stomach of steel to read this though.
