Welp second book in a row from this author that i didn't end up liking and if the third book thats gonna get published soon gonna end the same then i might drop her - i really liked Natasha Preston books and i even got used to her 'Endings: But since The Lake i just can't enjoy anything that she writes but i keep forcing myself.
Both in The Fear and in The Lake characters (the im not like the other Girls, the outcast, mean Girls etc) are just stupid, unlikable and predictable and i can Say the same about plot. Everything gives me feelings like :i saw this before in a movie or just it's not rly orginal of a plot. And it's sad beacuse i really enjoyed her books before but now they are just going downhill.

3.5 rounded up. Would have been a 4 if I got an ending that was even close to finality. Boo. It was an entertaining read.
