A lot happened in this volume! Hinata and Kageyama win their 3 on 3 match to earn their spots on the team! I mean, we all knew it would happen, but great to see Kageyama develop as a setter and start to build trust in Hinata.
Takeda comes through with booking a practice match against Aoba Johsai, a top 4 team. After Hinata deals with his nerves, the boys manage a shocking 2 sets to 1 win against a team with Kageyama's former teammate and former upperclassmen. It's not without it's downsides, because while they seem to have a great offense, the holes in their receives are on display.
But that could all change, because we meet Karasuno's real prodigy (coming back from suspension?), Nishinoya.
Glad to see Kageyama continue his development as a team player and excited to learn more about the "Guardian Dirty" of Karasuno.
