Cute story, but not a fan of the name Briar Rose though I assume this story is kind of a cross between Beauty & the Beast and Sleeping Beauty. 

I would suggest the authors editor take another look at this book though. Multiple spelling typos detracted from the storyline.

i really liked briar and sol! there was a teensy bit of miscommunication which i normally don't like, but it resolved really well and ugh. i just loved it thank you katee

CW DV, CNC

Well this was absolutely delightful. A marriage of convenience between a dragon and a human with a little breeding kink and light CNC. 

I'd say this is an ideal entry point to anyone who's interested in monster romance and is hesitant to take the first step. It's quite light and fluffy, even with the element of previous DV and is an easy read to enjoy. 

Briar, being a survivor of DV, shows development through the book in letting her guard down, accepting love and trust, while realising her own worth and physical desires. By the end of the book, her strong willed energy is a far cry from the timid woman we're introduced to in the beginning. 

Overall, I really enjoyed this. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5⭐s is because I felt if it had been a little longer, I'd have liked to have seen the emotional connection between the characters played out more.

I did not think The Dragon's Bride was going to be my thing going into it. I decided to take a chance on it after seeing my blogger buddy Kayla enjoyed it and because I usually enjoy Robert's writing. Who knew dragons could be so much fun? This was a great escape from reality.

When I say that Katee Robert is one of my favourite authors, it's because I love her writing style and her creativity + originality that pull me right into the story and make me stay up until the wee hours of the morning without even realizing it. Plus, something happened that I never thought would happen again..... Katee Robert has made me fall in love with scaly lizard man! In conclusion, 10/10, buy it without hesitation I assure you a good read with the perfect amount of spice.
