Really enjoyed this book. My only real complaint would be that it ended with a cliffhanger and the next book comes out in 2019.

Interesting
I rate it a 3.5/5. As usual, the book is very interesting. An easy read and did a great job giving recaps of the earlier books and how it ties into this book. Some parts of the book was a bit confusing but I figured it will be explained further in later books

I swear if I have to wait another two years for the next in this series, I will be pissed.
It was a filler book to set up what comes next. The story lacked real suspense because it was clear from the beginning what was happening. The only thing that was interesting was the last chapter but when it ended on a total cliffhanger I was pissed. Think the ending of Twilight Breaking Dawn 1 where Bella wakes up and all you see is her eye, then cut to black.

The best GUILD HUNTER novel yet! The stakes were raised as Elena's metamorphosis from mortal to angel begins to affect her life, right during the middle of a hunt that could bring her past to light.
I really enjoyed the direct danger to Elena in this novel. It made for some tense moments, especially at the end, and pushed Raphael to the brink. They continued to have chemistry, even as they argued about what Elena could do as her abilities began to weaken and wane.
The pacing was exciting and there were some twists that involved Elena's family, both biological and found, that added to the drama which I've always enjoyed. The book ends on a tense moment that leaves plenty to be explored, and I can't wait to see where it goes next!

I really don't like cliffhangers
That being said I still gave this 4 Stars because I love how she tells a story. Now I have to quickly find the next book to see what happens next.
