I loved how this story sweeps you away from one time to the other and how big of an impact it had on Maia's view of her future. I am curious on what the stories are for her other sisters, and how their past story will influence their perspective of life.

Interesting story and I was totally engaged once things started happening but it took way too long to get the story going. I almost didn’t keep going because of how slow the first half of the book is.
