Never again please.

My heart feels warm with this book! Samson and bayah are just adorable. We all need a sara in our life and I want a beech house now

Is every CoHo book just the same story over and over again or am I going insane?

[BK STAN]

This is the fourth Colleen Hoover book I have read this week and I don’t know what I am on. So good.

This story follows Beyah Grim, a self-reliant teen forced to spend the summer with her estranged father after a personal tragedy. There, she meets Samson—her mysterious, privileged neighbor—and the two form a cautious connection built on unspoken pain. What starts off casual quickly turns into something more, catching Beyah off guard.

Overall, this was just an *okay* read for me. While Beyah’s guarded personality made her tough to connect with early on, her bond with Samson helped soften her edges as the story progressed. Colleen Hoover’s signature emotional intensity is there, but this one didn’t fully land. A few bright spots, but not a standout.
