Colleen never disappoints! I so needed this story and now I wish I could take my toddlers to the beach ASAP. It’s been 10 years since I visited the beach (when I was 18) and I NEED IT RIGHT NOW

Minor spoilers about the ending…but like super minor, I promise!!!
This story was tragic, but so simplistic ❤️ majority of CoHo’s books have some life altering, ugly cry inducing twist or backstory, but with Heart Bones you were just reading a story of two people falling in love and healing together. Yes, the twist was sad and unexpected, but in the end it was a small hurricane that blew the pinwheel rotating and resetting their lives onto a path where they get to be happy!
It wasn’t the emotional rollercoaster that we’ve come to expect from Colleen Hoover’s books, but I enjoyed every page of the experience regardless.

Obviously, it's a must-read
I mean, it's Colleen Hoover...does the lady ever disappoint? No. Loved this book and how she brought light to the underlying real-life issue of too many kids falling through the cracks. Loved it, as always.

2.5 rounded up⭐️
I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t the best one from CoHo but it was a super quick, fast paced and easy read that felt like a good filler book between 2 larger ones. The plot was interesting but I sadly guessed the ending in the middle which was a little annoying and in certain places it did get a little repetitive.
The characters were well thought out and developed and were perfect for the setting and plot. It was a really sweet read and the ending was perfect for Beyah & Samson
