Succession in real life is disappointing but that's life.
Money - power - white male privilege - gross old men
i'm a sucker for media family drama in the post-succession age, but this didn't engross me as much as i thought it would - maybe too many executives to keep track of.
Stopping at 93 pages. It's just plain old boring.
3.5 stars - very addicting, temporarily filled a succession shaped hole in my heart
3.5. first half of the book basically just following two gold diggers committing elder abuse was tough to get through but the second half really read like a succession episode.

A rare non fiction read for me. I heard the authors interviewed on a Succession Podcast and the book sounded good. I generally knew the story of Sumner and Shari Redstone (but not all the details of the hold diggers preying on the 90 year old man) and of Les Moonves and his MeTop comeuppance, but it was still a fascinating detailed read. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction! Also, rich people really have rich issues!
